How To Enter
1. If you don't have one, create a YouTube account:
- Select "Sign Up" at www.youtube.com/signup
- Complete the registration form.
- Activate your account by following directions in the confirmation E-mail.
2. Join the VenturePORT Group on YouTube.
3. Produce your video.
4. Upload your video and add it to the VenturePORT Group.
- From any YouTube page, select the "Upload" navigation tab.
- Fill out the form and wait while your video is uploaded.
- Select "Home" and "My Videos" to show your video list. Wait until the status next to the video submitted says "Live!"
- Please note the title of the video, as well as the link above the "Share this video with friends!" text. It will be formatted as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=(random-characters)
- Return to the group page and select the "Add Videos" option from the yellow box in the content area.
- On the add videos page, check the box next to the video you wish to submit, hit the "Add to Group" button, and then click "Done" to return to the group page.
- The video will be posted pending administrator approval, usually within 24 hours.
5. Register for Elevator Pitch Contest at VenturePORT.org
- Email contests@ventureport.org with:
- Subject Line: VenturePORT Elevator Pitch Contest
- Provide your VenturePORT username
- Cut/paste video title and YouTube link.
- You will receive an E-mail response from VenturePORT telling you if your video is accepted
- Your video may or may not be selected for preview on YouTube or the VenturePORT Web site.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Introduction:
The VenturePORT Elevator Pitch Contest, ("Contest") sponsored by Catalyst Performance Group, Inc., ("Sponsor") is a promotion in which a grand prize will be awarded to the best video submitted to the Contest in accordance with these Rules and chosen by the Sponsor's panel of judges.
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of the North America who are at least 21 years of age at time of entry. Employees of Sponsor, and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families, regardless of whether they reside in the same household, are not eligible to participate ("Excluded Parties").
3. Timing
Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. CST on July 1st, 2008, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on September 30th, 2008 ("Contest Entry Period").
4. Eligible Videos
The videos' theme must be "My Business Elevator Pitch". Videos containing audio must be in English. The only formats accepted are .avi, .mov or .mpg and must be no longer than 90 seconds in length.
Video must be original and must not infringe the property rights of any third party. Any video that contains, in the Sponsor's sole discretion, any content that is infringing on third party's rights, obscene, violent, sexually provocative, discriminatory, or material that is deemed unfavorable to the Sponsor's image, will not be accepted. By submitting a video, you will NOT be automatically entered into the Contest.
5. How To Enter
Before you can submit a video, you must first become a registered member of VenturePORT.org. At the time of registration, you will be required to acknowledge that you have read and agreed to be bound by, the terms and conditions of VenturePORT.org. Upon completion of the registration, you must create a profile at VenturePORT.org and upload your video at www.youtube.com/group/VenturePORT. All videos must be received by September 30th, 2007.
Upon Sponsor's confirmation that the submitted video complies with the conditions set forth in section 4 above, your video will be posted for viewing at www.youtube.com/group/VenturePORT.
If the video is produced by more than one person, they may submit the video as a team under the team name. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for disputes between persons claiming authorship of the video. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
6. Judging
All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges appointed by Sponsor based on the following criteria: creativity/uniqueness of idea (75%) and quality of execution (25%). Decisions of the judges are final.
Winners will be notified by mail, phone or E-mail at Sponsors discretion. If all attempts to notify a winner have failed, Sponsor shall have the right to select alternative winners in accordance with this section.
7. Prizes
All submissions receive a $5 Starbucks gift card.

Apple is a registered trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
No cash will be awarded in lieu of prize. Sponsor reserves the right to award alternative prize(s) of similar value. All taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of winner.
8. Additional Terms and Conditions
By submitting a video, you warrant that it is wholly original and does not infringe any copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy or other proprietary right of any third party. Entrants in the Contest agree to assign the rights, title and intellectual property rights in their submitted videos to Sponsor as a condition of competing for a prize. Winner must sign all necessary documents to affect the transfer of rights. Entrants further grant permission to Sponsor to use their names, likenesses and biographical information for promotional or advertising purposes in all media worldwide, without further notice or compensation, unless prohibited by law.
By participating, entrants hereby release the Excluded Parties from any and all liabilities, losses, damages, harm, injuries, costs or expenses which may occur in connection with their preparation for the Contest, or from their acceptance, use/misuse of a prize. Entrants will indemnify and hold the Excluded Parties harmless from and against any claims, suits, losses, damages, and expenses, including litigation costs and reasonable attorney fees arising in connection with any allegation that their submitted videos violate the intellectual property rights of any third party.
If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any E-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in the Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, stolen, or misdirected entries. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that this Contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin and: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in Appleton, Wisconsin (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys fees; and (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation lost profits may be awarded and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim such damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased.
9. Winning Notifications and Winner's List
Winner will be notified by October 15th , 2008, and announced at www.VenturePORT.org on or after November 1st, 2008.
